“Life in Plastic” focuses on the anxiety of being suffocated and trapped, as these feelings consumed my life for the past three years. Other mental health struggles are depicted as well, since it is hard to group these feelings in one category, such as depression, anxiety, and drug abuse. I have drawn influence from photographers like Cindy Sherman, Gregory Crewdson, and Joshua Hoffine, as they expose the dark realities behind real life. "Life in Plastic" encapsulates the various feelings and experiences that I have been through over these past couple of years in hopes to connect people with our shared experiences, and to help people find themselves.
